Just not meant to be...

Ok, so Ive spent the last year doing all I can to improve my mileage. Thus far, no luck. Unless you cound the measly little one mile per gallon improvement.

New exhaust, intake, tranny, DP tuner on econo, EBP valve (Havent been able to find a crowsfoot wrench to get the tube off and clean it. So I have one on order)

Locked the cruise on 65 and drove a good 200 miles across mostly flat terrain-unloaded. I went from 13.2 to a whopping 14.4. I just dont see the EBP tube helping all that much once it's done.

Funny thing is I was still getting between 15 to 16 mpg after I first lifted the truck and threw on the 315's. And Ive never driven 65 from point A to point B. I was certain my conservative driving would have helped some this trip.

Could there be something more serious learking under my hood Im not aware of?

I have a CC LB and consistenly get 16.5 with mixed driving on 33s with no lift. Hand calculated. I don't know about these trucks, but on the 04 Silverado 1/2ton that I had, I lost 1.5 MPG with a grill guard installed (not full replacement). That is what is keeping me from getting one on the F350. Like you say, I got maybe 1mpg from the intake, exhaust and chip.

Has the speedo been adjusted for the tires to make sure your calculations are on?

One of the first things I would check, would be all turbo inlets & outlets. You have to have a leak somewhere.

Thanks for the tip.

Will it be obvious or what do I need to be looking for?
