need help blown fuse problem

I keep blowing the fuse that control the abs, AC clutch, turn signals and a few other things. I though it was the sensor on the back pumpkin but I replaced the sensor and it still does it. When the fuse blows it acts just the same as the sensor being bad. It shows it being a 10amp fuse and this seems pretty small to run all this, so is there a relay that could be bad. It seems to work fine tell you put it in drive and turn the AC on. Also it doesn't seem to blow all the time, sometime it will work fine. Any help on this would be great.

There are actually 4 fuses that feed the ABS system.

#14(60A) under the hood - feeds nothing other than the ABS.
#15(5A) under dash - Feeds ABS (via the brake pedal switch), and the GEM.
#19(10A) under dash - Feeds ABS indicator lamp and instrument panel
#25(5A) under dash - feeds ABS module only (from what I can tell)

The AC clutch is fed by Fuse #24(10A - under dash) via the function switch. That fuse also feeds the heater blend motor and the trailer battery charge relay. Not related to the ABS system.

Fuse #15 listed above feeds a number of things thru the brake pedal switch, including the shift lock actuator. It's shown on the page with the turn signals, but is actually not related to the turn signals or brakes, as the brake pedal switch is a double pole switch (two isolated circuits).

If you can post the actual fuse number that you're having trouble with, it would be easier to help.

It is Fuse #24. As soon as you turn the a/c on the fuse blows.

That says your problem is either inside the function switch or downstream of it.

Coming from the function switch is a pink wire, going thru the clutch cycling pressure switch, then a red/yellow wire to the high pressure switch, then a tan/lt green to the AC clutch diode, Clutch solenoid, and to the PCM. Completing the circuit is a black wire coming from the clutch solenoid, going to the AC clutch diode and then to ground thru the connector near the passenger side battery. The tan/lt green wire also goes thru the same connector.

You might check the diode at the AC compressor clutch. If it's toasted, it might short to ground (not sure how diodes fail). Otherwise, try disconnecting the pink wire at the function switch and measure the resistance across it to ground. If you get a low resistance, follow the circuit toward the AC clutch and see if resistance comes up. If so, there's a short between that spot and the previous spot in the circuit. Could be your clutch solenoid is shorted.
