Need info.

Hi Everybody, this is my first post really needing help. I am in the middle of installing a xzt recon monitor in my 2000 250 psd and I have a question of where is the test port on my transmission. I am using the install instructions but still have this question . What kind of plug will be in it? I have read where it is towards the rear of the trans. but the plug I see is towards the front on the driver side? Thanks in advance. Bill

Is this for a temp sensor?

The line pressure port is usually the place to install a temp sensor. It's on the driver's side, just above the pan, towards the front of the trans. There is a black hex head plug in it. You'll lose an ounce or so of fluid.
