Need To Pull Down My Overhead Console...

How is it attached? My sunglass holder broke and have to replace it. And after spending $68.00 freakin dollars for a new one, I don't want to screw anything else up or I will have to take out a loan!

Re: Need To Pull Down My Overhead Console...

While sitting in the drivers seat, grab the trailing edge of the console and yank downward until you think it's going to break... and it'll pop right off.

Re: Need To Pull Down My Overhead Console...

Why replace it, it will just break again. I just stuck mine back up with some silicone so it doesn't look bad. They are to brittle to be used much. 106

Re: Need To Pull Down My Overhead Console...

I agree that they are a bit on the weak side. I only open mine to get at the wiring to these.

Re: Need To Pull Down My Overhead Console...

That looks like a sweet set-up - nice job.

Re: Need To Pull Down My Overhead Console...

So how is this console held in place then, with a few quick-clips? Just pull it straight down and it pops off? Again - I don't want to break anything if I can help it. Thanks!

Re: Need To Pull Down My Overhead Console...

4 clips. Just grab the back edge and pull down. You will think it will break but it just pops out.
