I ordered part# SB 1010 I called because I couldn't find them on the site and confirmed fitment. Nice people. It's the same size for the front and back. The tube is reusable and was a couple bucks extra but is chemical resistant if it makes a difference. I usually have to work by myself because of my schedule. You replace the stock bleeders with the Speed Bleeders permanently and all you need to do for a change is open the bleeder and pump the petal while watching the reservoir level and check the color of the fluid once in a while. For me it is money well spent for the time I save.

I haven't used mine yet and didn't know that they were permanent.
If they were sticking that bad why wouldn't they stick under moderate brake pressure? The force required to squeeze the brake pads against the rotor to cause heavy breaking force has to be way higher than the friction in the slide pins. And when I say they don't release immediately I mean it's like I'm still applying the same force to the brake pedal. It's not just a slow release. The last place I had work on my brakes was a reputable shop and I am certain they would have lubed the slide pins correctly. How often do they need to be re-lubed? If it were warmer here I would have already pulled a caliper and checked the pins but my fingers don't work well in temperatures below 20 degrees. Thanks for all the help.
Please tell me what diameter tubing you bought from Lowe's, and what dept you found it in.
I'll run down there and buy some, but I just don't remember seeing it there.
Thanks,
Richard
Richard,
It's 3/16" dia. clear vinyl tubing, found in the plumbing section, I believe. If not plumbing, try the hardware section. They had a wide selection of tubing available. Hope this helps!
