Oil Filter suggestion

I am looking for a suggestion on an oil filter to use. I have been through several different brands. I am looking for one with a flat gasket. I have tried quite a few with the tapered gasket like the Motorcraft and they all start leaking on me. I was using the Mobil 1 filters but they no longer use the flat gasket. So far the only ones I have found are the Baldwin brand but they are hard to find and are pretty pricey. Thanks.

If Baldwin is your preference, Filterbarn.com might be a place to check.

There is something else going on if the tapered gasket constantly leaks on you.

Either your installation procedure is not correct or the mating surface is not clean (or maybe has scratches, pitting or corrosion).

Tapered gaskets work flawlessly for millions of Super Duty owners every day.

What are your installation practices?

Have you closely inspected the mating surfaces ?
