Boss man brought home his new 350 today and says it has no outside temperature readout. Is this true? Could it have been an ordering glitch of some sort. how do you find it if there is one
There's nothing about an outside temp gauge in the owner's manual. Tell bossman to crack window, lick and carefully stick pinky through opening.

Did have to peel myself off headliner while navigating to a full and complete stop. Fond memories! I have an 08 Lariat and also find it strange that there's no outside temp gauge (that I have been able to locate). My '04 XL F-150 even had one! I can't believe Ford appears to have omitted such a relatively standard feature.

I thought the outside temp gauge was built in to the automatic climate control....you can monitor the outside temp or show what you have the temp set for the ac or heat...my .02 but I could be wrong...

Bassman's right (I missed it). It's on page 83 of the owner's manual. 12. EXT: Press to display outside temperature. Press again to display cabin temperature settings.

Yep, Bassman nailed it. I guess I need to find the time to actually READ the manual. I found the EXT button on the climate control and it displays the outside temp right in it's little display. Thanks!
