Power Window Problem

I get in my truck, put the windows down, after driving for awhile, not one window will go back up. Now, when I park the truck, after a short while I can come back to it, and the windows will go up. Any thoughts on my problem would be appreciated. By the way, I'm driving an '05 F250 XLT crew cab. Thanks in advance.

My truck does the same thing, I have searched this board before and the intermittent Power Windows seems to be out there, but I have yet to find out whats causing it and how to fix it. This winter I finally just yanked the fuse after a hotel valet put the windows down THREE times one day in -20 weather (despite me telling him NOT to use the windows AND putting a big hand written sign hanging off the visor)) and had to call me in my room about it each time.

It's a weird problem, the window will go down and just stay there, no amount of playing with the switch will do anything and at some point, usually after leaving it for awhile, it will just decide to go back up. Very frustrating!

Mine were doing the same thing and eventually stopped working completely (just passenger side but I couldn't control it from either switch). Ended up being a bad switch.

Left rear window motor was burnt up. Every time I would put that window down it would trip a breaker and all the windows would quit. The motor would cool off, and the windows would start working again. New window motor in there now!
