Power window will go down but not up

I have a 99 f-250 extened cab and the passenger window was intermittent in going up or down but would usually work from the drivers side. And then would work from the passenger side once I got it started. Then it went out completely so I pulled the switch to make sure contacts were clean at the switch and where it plugs into the jumper for the motor. Now it will only go down and is stuck all the way down. When I click up I dont even hear the motor trying. My test light comes on when I put it on at the bottom plug just before it goes to the motor. Can that motor go out for just up??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you ever get this fixed? I have a similar issue where the passenger window will go down, but will sometimes not go up.

Just curious as to what the culprit was...

Switches. If driver window then it is only the driver door switch. On other windows contacts that are burnt or have gotten sand or dirt down in them that got on contacts when they were opwn will shut down operation.
Before I do anything else whem I have this problem on a vehicle I blow into switch through any gap around button while moving switch to up and down postions and usually that gets it.
