radio says "mech error"?????

So this weekend I had the batteries out and cleaned up the posts/cables and put in the Wicked Wheel. Put everything back together and the radio now shows "Mech Error" when I start the truck. The time shows right, the presets are all still there and as far as the radio goes it seems to all work fine. Where could this error be coming from???

Re: radio says "mech error"?????

is it a changer? If so, check that it can eject and accept all of the discs.

My Sport Trac had a changer problem once, but it said "CD error"

just a WAG.

Must be a super rare thing, eh????

No, it isn't a changer and the unit itself seems to work just fine.
