RPM guage sometimes not accurate
Have an problem which now as only occured about 4 or 5 times. Next time I go you use it the problem is non-existant. ( F250 6.0 2005 ) The RPM's will be running just about the 2100 range then after driving for an hour or so it will move down into the 1500-1800 range then will continue to drift to below 1000 (may take 30-60 min to drift lower). The engine is running fine and never changes in sound so I assume it's either the guage or the sensor. Any ideas? Still under warranty for another 2 months. Have had zero problems with the truck and if I take it over to them more than likely they would not have a clue what to fix?
