telescoping mirrors stuck

my mirrors are stuck in the widest position. can these mirrors be disassembled, freed up, then lubed? it doesn't look to me like the come apart, but somebody else may know better.

I gotter figured out. the mirror portion is removable, which gives you access to the screws to remove the back. putting the mirror portion back in place is a little more challenging though.

I would have just sprayed a little PB Blaster in the slide grooves and pounded them in.
