Is there a way to add memory seats to my truck?

Whenever my wife uses my truck, she moves the seat. For whatever reason it takes me days to re adjust it just right. Does someone make an add on unit without having to change the seat? Maybe it is a crossover part from another Ford? Any Ideas? Thanks

Re: Is there a way to add memory seats to my truck?

Not that I know of. I have worked on my sons Merc and they have proximity sensors that count the revolutions on the different acctuators. I think some systems do it by timing how long the motor has been turning, not as accurate and can get out of calibration as the seat moves slower against gravity especially with someone in the seat.
On another note I would like to see the seats with a cooling fan of some sort. Leather gets hot in the summer, espcially with a big backside like mine
Has anybody done a retrofit to add cooling?

Re: Is there a way to add memory seats to my truck?

I got the same gripe when my wife drives my truck. She has an Expedition and hers does it. I don't think its the seats, rather another computer function. It has 2 memory positions and depending which key fob you use. One will use memory 1 and the other uses memory 2.

Re: Is there a way to add memory seats to my truck?

i love the "easy exit seat" & seat memory on my 06 chevy.

When i remove the key, the seat automatically moves back all the way and when i get back in i press "1 or 2" on the door and it will put your seat where it was and mirrors where they belong..

btw, no way to do this to a SD unless you add different seats with more controls.
