Tripmeter goes away when turned off. Normal?

I have to hit the reset button to bring the tripmeter back up everytime I get in my truck. Is this normal? It always defaults back to the odometer only.

Re: Tripmeter goes away when turned off. Normal?

Mine does the same thing. The other thing I just noticed, is it seem like there is one line of numbers and the "T" missing. It is the middle bar. I have to get back to the dealer and look at this, I don't think either one is normal.
