What is the fitting on the steering knuckle

afboone88 Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2003 Location: New Jersey Posts: 408 My Photos: (22) Feedback Score: 0 reviews	What is the fitting on the steering knuckle I'm replacing my ball joints and hub assy this week and I noticed a fitting on the knuckle with a red cap. It looks like it goes into the area where the seal for the outer part of the hub. Does anyone know what it's for and what type of fluid goes into it? You have manual hubs so that part is not used.
