Window Freezes shut

Winter is fast approaching. Is there anyway to keep my driver's side window from freezing shut? I need to be able to open it at check points and at the drive-thru. Can I spray the rubber with some type of silicone or do I need to replace the rubber piece? Any ideas?

This is one reason why I have always hated power windows. I have never had this problem with manual windows.

i sometimes use door lock antifreeze. a little squirt along the rubber will work wonders. also try to keep the seal dry. open the window then use a cloth to dry the seal in the morning and hopefully it will stay dry and freeze free for the day.

Silicone weather striping spray. Do around windows and door rubber to keep the moisture from sticking to them. Nothing you can do about hard ice forming on the outside of the window.
