Window Problems

My 2000 superduty electric windows are on the blink They work fine for a few days and then now they want to do all kinds of crazy Stuff. When they act up the the relays in the fuse panel make a clicking noise. The drive side will go up but it chatters all the way up and the relay makes the clicking noise. Some times it goes down on its own when the door is shut. Then it will chatter and inch back up when you hold the switch down. The interior lights also dim and shut off when this happens. I'm guessing its a relay??? There are 4 relays. The 3 on the bottom are all the same. I tried interchangeing them with the same results. The top one seems to be making the chatter. Any help would be appreciated.

Check for broken wires in the rubber convolute between the door and body that the wires run in. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]
There could be a grounding problem, GEM issues, switch problems or bad relays.
The chattering sounds like dry window tracks. Lube the tracks and window runs with This Stuff.
