7.3 DI nostart. Fried PCM or?

I've got a 1997 f250HD 7.3 And while driving highway speed BAM the truck shut off and could not restart. now I know about the 30amp fuse replacement (done that) fuel bowl is removed/unpluged and I still am unable to restart. truck is warm (block heater+inside heated garage). Still NO Start. my wts light comes on and glow plugs function regularly. Im wondering if by putting a higher fuse (50amp accidentally) into the 30amp spot would have Fried my PCM? so, now i know the problems aren't the fuel bowl,gp's,cps,or batteries. What is a good plan of action? anyone been in this spot before? It HAS to be electrical!

Does the tach move while you crank it?

yes (to an extent) sorry forgot about that. I can see it get power "on" and wiggles just slightly when cranking. also would the CPS be bad if my wait to start light still comes on? I replaced the cps with a new one (hopefully not a "one-in-a-million" defect).

WTS light does not indicate anything about the CPS. Moving tach _usually_ means CPS is good, but aftermarket brands are all iffy. Are you getting any white smoke when you crank it?

no smoke at all there is fuel in the bowl. i'm gonna grab a third cps today and see if there's any difference. otherwise does it make sense to start attacking sensors? I.E. IPR, ICP?
