95 7.3 power stroke

my trucks engine light is on and is running very rough,i have not drove it much but while ideling it will sometimes go back to a normal sounding full power idle and the engine light will go off,but it always goes back to running poor,this all happened very suddenly one day while stopping at a stop sign.someone plaese help??? i did already try a new cam sensor no different at all???

My wag would be an under valve cover wiring harness is burned or partly disconnected ...Get the code read if you can ,,,

I second that, pull the plugs that go to Under Valve Cover Harness(there's 4 of them) and look for any burned connections, also open the oil fill cap on the valve cover and smell inside for burned plastic.
