Did you check the Exhaust up-pipes for soot deposits? What kind of boost are you making ?
I didnt think the Black filter was a good thing. It was not like that the last time I changed it.

I do not have a boost gage yet yo know my boost levels. I plan to get a pyro, boost, trans temp setup soon.

I plan to check the fuel press and up-pipes this weekend. Are there any prone places to look for soot on the up-pipes?

Where the manifold connects to the UP- pipe and where the UP-pipe connects to the Turbo collector. There are donuts inside there which wear out eventually. Make sure all your intake clamps /boots are tight and not ripped /worn. Upgrading them with quality silicone hose is a cheap fix . I also have an Upgraded intake ( black hard rubber ) for cheap if you are intersted. I got it in a deal with a Turbo from another member. It replaces the orange one. I could send you a picture if you like and make me an offer. . .
