Question 96 Ford F350 dually 7.3 turbo

Hello,
I just bought a truck with a major engine problem:
96 for f350 dually crew cab, 218k, auto, power all, stock.

The coolant drains directly into the oil. I changed the oil and almost 2 five gallon pals of grey liquid came out. I then noticed the coolant over flow/fill up was almost empty and I put 4 gallons of water in it to see if it would drain into the engine and it did. I don't know much about these engines as I just got my 1st one about 6 months ago (I also have a real nice 97 4x4 crew cab long bed). Let me know what you guys think the issue is, I would guess head gasket. let me know my next steps, or if I should just part out the truck.......

Could be bad seals in the oil cooler as well.

Like mentioned above, possible oil cooler , but if the injector cups leak, fuel would go into the radiator and over fill the recovery bottle, been there and had it happen to me.

Well after some research I've learned that its not the injection cup(s), this wouldn't make sense because they have nothing to do with coolant. It's looking more and more like the oil cooler. The coolant drains from the coolant resevor directly into the block, a head gasket and/or cracked block wouldn't drain that fast.
