Can someone list the part number for the Ford AIC unit? I found one for $75.00 brand spankin new, want to make sure its for our trucks (mounting hardware) so i know i can get it mounted up...
The only thing ill really use this for is idle control for when im sitting parked with the truck on to avoid wetstacking. (Not to mention its another cool gadget for inside the cab) Ill probably never use it for extra power with a PTO. Is it still worth getting?
Also, I have a 5 speed, will the shifter get in its way? Anyone have a picture of it mounted in a truck with a 5 speed tranny?
Dont have any part numbers, but Chris has his mounted using the stock bracket and he has a 5 speed. No problems there. He might have some pics of it here .

The description says that its for a 94-97 Ford powerstroke, but i called ford and referenced the part number given by the seller (F5TF-12B639-BC) and they dont have a listing for it. any ideas???

Screw the bracket, if it works on a 7.3 for 75 bucks I'd buy it!

I bought an AIC on eBay for $65, and modified the bracket from a Superduty to get it mounted. As you said, it's another cool gadget in the cab, and it's got a digital rpm display when you're running, so it's got some entertainment value.

bought it, $75.00 + $15.00 shipping, talked to ford stealership today, he told me they list them for over $1150.00!! .... i will now impatiently await for the arival of my new toy in the mail
verify that it comes with the wiring harness. Mine sat for a year before I was able to find one. Ford only sells them for $1150. The problem is that if you don't have the harness then you have to find one for either the "no pto" or the "pto" type aic. The connections to the actual box is different. My wife saw mine yesterday and asked me what it does. I said "I can turn it on and the truck won't smoke so much" she said "thats all that thing with all the buttons does" I said "no, it shows my rpm's" she said "whats the tach in the dash for?" I said "ok it just looks cool, and the chicks dig it.......right?" She laughed, "oh yea thats got me goin"
