The truck would not start and the water in fuel light was on.
I drained the fuel and cleaned the crude from bottom of housing.
I remove the FPR and cleaned the screen.

This may seem to be a stupid question, but it has happened. The last time you fueled up, are you sure you pumped diesel and not gasoline?
What about the idm?
Keep the batts on charge....

I purchase fuel at truck stop the pumps are separate from the gas pumps.
I just purchased a PCM for it ,should have it by Friday.
The 196 and 606 codes are PCM fault codes, so I'm replacing.
Trying to find a new APS now.

I just replaced the entire assy. If you cant find the sensor, let me know. I can mail you my old one, but i believe you have to replace the whole deal. That may be expected though (pcm shut down). It talks to the ipr via the idm and pcm...

Thanks anyway Randy. I just ordered one for $50.The PCM was $115 has the same
part number and no core charge. I hope they work.

I finally had time to work on the truck. The switch at the peddle was good ,had a bad connection. I changed CPS with my spare and no start. Changed the IDM and truck started. It seems the IDM is as reliable as the CPS. LOL
