pass side kick panel....right above your floor mat on the right side there is a panel...take it off there is a plug that is mounted to the side there that is not running to anything that is it....your hot wire should be a brown wire...trust me i just put 99+cab lights on my truck 2 months ago.

I'm not sure if you already have the lights but I ordered mine a few months back from class8truckparts.com and they were just like the stock ones for '97's and cost me $33 total including shipping. Good luck with them, I like the looks of them alot. I spent most my time not on the lights but taking all the trim parts off and such on the inside.

fordemblem.com has some, but maybe someone else knows where they are cheaper.

Mine are not working. Just got the truck and I don't see any switch to turn them on with. I assume they are supposed to come on with the headlights? Is there a fuse or anything I should check for?

Fossil, been a couple of years since you posted your question but I just got a '96 f250 with cab lights and mine don't work either. Bulbs are replaced. Did you find a solution to get them on? Maybe I am missing a switch somewhere??

Everyone of my bulbs where shot. I had to replace them all. They have worked fine ever since.

Great! That's good to know. I was starting to worry there was something more sinister lying below that would cause my lights to not work. Thanks.

No separate switch for the cab marker lights, they come on with the parking lights thru the normal headlight switch. I think they're even on the same fuse as the parking lights.
