CPS part number/year?

I have had a 97 F350 PSD for years now, and I just picked up a 9/95 production date F350 PSD.

I am suspect of the CPS because it keeps dying on me, I carry a spare for my 97 at all times are these the same part number? I dont want to go tearing the 95's out and have it be wrong as the Parts store needed a day or so to get one and I cant move the thing in the mean time

The one that you have for your 97 will work, it just has different material for the contacts so if you want to use it put some dielectric grease on the connector. The one for the 94-96 is part number F4TZ12K073C and you can get it from Powerstrokeshop.com for $15.42 + shipping.

I used the CPS for the '97 and up PSD's in my '96 and have had no problems whatsoever.
