Ok, going to replace wheel bearings tomorrow...
Timken Part No. # numbers:

387A inner bearing (2)
382A inner race (2)
Set 38 outer brg w/race (2)
Hub seal (2)

I see two more part numbers: LM104911 and LM104949
Don't know what they are, done with google...
could these be spindle bearings?

I was wondering what else I should be servicing at the time, my U joints and ball joints seem to be OK, I keep hubs unlocked and drive around in 4x once a week or two to keep things moving. Should U joints and ball joints be replaced as preventative maint. at this point?

I plan on using Lucas Red N' Tacky to pack the new ones, any opinions on that grease?

If I get brave or ambitious I'd like to tackle my TTB pivot bushings, shackle and spring bushings and some tie rod ends among getting my wavy rotors turned.

To add to the list, I may as well do ball joints too and forget about the front of the truck for ten years.

Driving on the street in 4hi with hubs unlocked, I hear a lot of noise, just assumed it was normal. Sounds sort of like clutch fan is hanging on all the time, is this normal U joint and spindle bearing bahavior?
