Dome and Cargo Light

Niether my dome or cargo light work. Where should I start to look?

my dome light works , but my map lights don't. i have fixed them before. the bad spot is under the rocker cover by your left foot, there are wire grafts there that go green. yup right were all the salt and mud from your boots goes!!! not the best place for a wire harness.

Thanks for the info. I will have to look near the rocker. I know I am missing the rocker cover, but i don't remember seeing any wires. I will have to look closer though. If there is no wire there, how would I go about rewiring it?

mine is an extra-cab, so the harness runs the floor and then goes up the pillar behind the door. regular cab may be different, like straight up the A pillar ?
