I don't know of any sites other than possibly autozone.com. You can register for free and then navigate your way to repair info and I bet they will have the removal/install procedure with pics.
It is very simple and straight forward if you have the tools and equipment. the tranny is on the heavy side, so make sure you have a good floor jack with a tranny adaptor or a good tranny jack. Make sure the engine is supported before you slide the tranny back, as the engine is supported in the back by the tranny. I use a bottle jack and then a 1X4 piece of wood to distribute the weight on the oil pan. Remove the driveshaft, mark the orientation of the rear U joints to the pinion flange. Undo the tranny lines and then the bolts on the flex plate, under the inspection housing. after that it's just a matter of unbolting it from the engine and with the torque convertor pushed into the tranny it should slide back enough to clear the locating pins and drop down. This is a simplistic explanation, but should give the the general idea.
