Engine swap! Need your professional help

A quick one here.......will my 1997 PSD engine fit into my 2000 PSD pickup? I blew my 2000 up and I have a perfectly good 1997 model engine sitting here. Will the '97 swap into my 2000? Thank's all.

uhhhhhhh......yeah? Yourreallyinahurryaren'tyou?

Theres some differences Like split shot injectors and the turbo is a little different. It MIGHT be a little less powerful but split shot injectors are junk anyways, they take away power.

But all in all...YES it will swap right over, except for MAYBE the tranny, not 100% sure on that. Check the bellhousing bolt patterns and compare with each engine.
