Whats the best way to start diagnosing a F350 with power door locks that lock but don't unlock? Thought maybe someone has seen this problem before.

They get stuck often. It's happened to me countless times. push the switch over and over and often times that'll "unstick" it.

Doesn't matter how many times you try, you can only unlock them manually. I remember on my 90 that the doors had motors that would lock up. However it would usually only affect 1 door, not all. Is there a relay or something in the wiring?

dandiesel here are somethings to check fuse number 6 and 8 in fuse box in cab fuse 20 in distribution box under hood. There is a keyless module under the dash above the fuel pedal there will be a gray plug take a paper clip bend it in a U shape and jump across it with the key in the on postion.

If you press the unlock switch, when nothing happens, then immediately press the lock, will the doors lock?

Does the other (pass side) switch work?
I just replaced the switch on the drivers side of my 97, ford OEM 22 bucks. Same part number expect for the last letter, A and B right and left can not recall which is which right now.
I tried a while back to take the switch apart and clean it only lasted for a short time.

Is it both doors that don't unlock?
My passenger one started doing this. Lock, but no unlock. Only manually. Turns out I had a wire in the plug under the kick panel corroded right off. Replaced the wire end, works perfect now.
