Factory Alarm System

Lately the alarm system has been going off for no reason. Horn honking and lights flashing. So far it hasn't happened in the middle of the night. But with my luck it's only a matter of time. Does anybody know anything about these units? Thanks

Re: Factory Alarm System

Do you have the key fob for the remote entry? The panic button makes the horn blow and lights flash.

Re: Factory Alarm System

Does the key fob still work, if you have one? I wonder if it starts acting up when the batteries get low. I had the same thing happen on an explorer and my mustang. Good luck
