Fleetfilter.com Order

I am getting ready to order from Fleetfilter a new air filter and wanted to know if you guys think I should order anything else while I am at it. I currently run a K&N Oil filter and I just did a tranny flush. I thought they used to have a $50 order got free shipping, but apparently not anymore. I was thinking of a tranny filter and a coolant filter (if they have one that will fit). Are WIX oil filters worth a hoot? I am going to need an oil change before too long. Appreciate any input.

Re: Fleetfilter.com Order

WIX are some of the best, they make filters that are sold under many other brand names. Just stay away from FRAM. Motorcraft is a good filter as well, so are Baldwin.

If you want to do away with your in the box K&N and go to an open filter style, get the Wix equivalent of the Baldwin PA2818.

Alot of guys have had problems with the K&N on these trucks, and the stock airbox is not the greatest, known for letting debris in past the filter when the hold down bolts loosen up

Re: Fleetfilter.com Order

That is actually why I am placing the order is to replace my K&N (although my K&N is a cone filter). I realized that the fuel filter in my secondary is the same as the WIX so I am ordering 2 fuel filters and an air filter to replace the K&N. Since they don't have the $50 free shipping deal, I think that is going to be it...
