Fuel Filters

Got 2 fuel filters for my 7.3 from geno's while I was ordering some for my dodge. Was going to change it tonight when one of my friends with a 7.3 said that i didn't have the right one. he said some of them have a filter new housing top on them. I got the canister type. Do I have the right one's or is he full of it???

I've seen them available both ways. Without a filter number, I can't tell you if you have the right one or not, but I can tell you that unless your fuel filter lid is broken, a replacement filter will be just fine without replacing the lid.

I agree with Squid63...you need to tell us the P/N you bought before we can say it is or isn't the right one. They come both ways.
