Re: fuel problems
19 gal tank - do you run it all the way dry or to EMPTY on the gauge? If to EMPTY you may not be using all 19 gallons. Figuring 250 miles on 19 gallons of fuel is 13.16 MPG. When either of my tanks gets to EMPTY on the gauge I have three gallons of fuel left so if that is the case for you your 19 becomes 16 which figures to 15.63 MPG.
Also, you do not show the configuration of your truck - 2 or 4 wheel drive, manual or auto trans, standard size or oversize tires, lifted or not, differential ratios.
All will have an effect. If you are a conservative driver who stays under 2000 rpm most all the time in a two wheel drive truck with standard tires and a manual transmission that is low. If, on the other hand, you are running lifted with 38" tires (not corrected in the odometer/speedometer for tire size), run 75-80 on the interstate with 4.10 gears and enjoy using the power of the chip while smoking the ricer next to you (I know, stacks don't go into the window - the only disadvantage to them) then you are actually doing pretty well.
