OK, I just got everything to replace my fuel pump and have a question. According to Sam Millers article, it recommends 400 psi diesel hose 3/8" and 5/16". Nowhere to include NAPA, Ford dealer, Advance, etc could I find 400 psi hose. The dude at NAPA sold me "all fuel" hose, that includes diesel, that also says 180 psi WP. He said this is what he sells for diesels. He said the 180 pis working pressure is what they sell for diesels. Am I good or not? 2' of each cost me $26. What do you guys think?

Aeroquip FC332-06 , 3/8" rated 250 psi, 17 bar. Same thing that ford will sell you in little packages, cost sky high. You need 3 little aeroquip hoses - 2 about 1 3/4" and one shorter, - the 1 3/4 " hoses are ford part # F4TZ-9324-CA , the part # on the shorter hose F4TZ-9324-DA. anything else that meets SAE J30R9 specs.
I didn't look at the exact price on the receipt (I had a gift card from a different parts return), but the local AutoZone had the SAE J30R9 hose. One foot each of 3/8" and 5/16" was just a few bucks.

Michael Pliska
