glow plug replacement

i've seen a bunch of post with links to directions on the process but can open none of them for some reason. i just need the torque specs for the glow plugs and valve covers. i have a 1/4" drive in inch/lbs and a 3/8" in ft/lbs so if you have both numbers how to convert i'd appreciate it!

thanks!

'till the twist off then back off 1/2 round HA-HA
the torque spec. is 14 ft lbs. valve cover torques at 97 in lbs. actually it is just like tightening up a bolt of about the same size, after a while you can feel when it is tight enough without a torque wrench

Are you going back together or are you getting ready to start? I have a copy of Carpentractor's EXCELLENT article on the job for 94-97 trucks as an MS Word document with pictures and such I can send you if you need it. Shoot me an email at Believer45@gmail.com with GLOW PLUG INFORMATION in the subject line, let me know where you saw this and what email address to use and I will reply with three attachments.
