Aloha Folks-

I have an extended cab and wanted to ask how hard is it to take out the headliner?

I would like to add some sound dampening to my roof and add some electrical connections to my new double-sun visors I picked up that have the lighted mirror so I figure I would take care of everything at the same time.

Anyhow, I have heard different opinions about the difficulty in taking out our headliners and hope to get some good advice.

You need to remove your seats and console if you have one. Then all of the trim that holds it up. then remove your interior light. Then rotate it down so it is standing on end length wise and being very gentle it will slide out the door opening on an angle. remember it is fragile after all those years of exposure to the elements.
