Valve cover gasket & wiring both harness were replaced when injectors were. About 15k miles ago. I can see 1 harness going & causing 2 cylinders to miss, but both harnesses at the same time?

Maybe chip is not making good contact .Try removing chip , cleaning contacts and trying it again. Are there any codes present ? Is the Idm OK ? Also when you replaced the UVC harnesses , was the engine harness OK ? I mean not burn't at all ?

Just went out & removed chip. No change. Is there a way to check IDM? Harness was burned some, but I replaced the connector ends.

I bet your IDM is full of water. Exact same problem happened a few times to my friend with a E350.

If the idm senses a fault is shuts down the whole bank, it could just be one wire burnt causing the problem,

but as mentioned, I would check the idm for water, its more common on the vans then the trucks to find water in them I believe.

Thanks for your help. I replaced the harnesses again & valve cover gasket & connector ends. Ran fine for a couple months. It acted up again & than ok for 1k miles. Now it has the same problem again. Now I have a code P0270. Injector # 4. I took the IDM off, and there is no water in it. Any other ideas? The harness from IDM to VC is .1 ohm.
