Hesitation and lose of power from stop

From a dead stop and under normal acceleration, the truck will almost hesitate. Get real quiet and lose almost all power for about a second then come back. After that it runs just fine no matter the pedal position or rpms. Started about a week ago and has been getting worst and worst. It only does it from a stop and not all the time and only when the engine is warm. Im was thinking a fuel issue or oil but wanted to ask before I dug into it too much.
One more thing is if I start with just slight thottle then gradual acceleration, it doesnt do it at all. Only under normal or higher pedal.
Thanks for any help.
Mike

Re: Hesitation and lose of power from stop

sounds elcetrical , like a CPS or wiring harness, but you never know it could be fuel pressure or even the chip.

Fuel heater moving around or water in the IDM? Just a thought.
