Hi Lift Jack ?

Anyone safely use one of these on their F-350?

I have not tried and don't think i would try, I dont think they are safe at all, seen one almost kill some one.

HiLifts are dangerous, and so are bumper jacks. Having said that, the original bolts are designed to shear to keep you from lifting too much weight. I'd look up the info on your particular jack. They are rated different for the different models. I used mine to lift the entire rear of my '82 k5 blazer about 2' off the ground one time. Just to do it!

The one I was looking at can lift 7000 lbs my entire truck weighs about that.

just go buy a 3ton floor jack and put it in the cross over box safer and more convient

I bought one of those hi lift jacks years ago when I was in school out in Colorado. Never ended up being very useful for my truck. Just too heavy for the jack. I did use it in a pinch as I winch though. Still, they are better geared towards light weight 4x4's

1996 F250 4x4 ext. cab, long bed 5 spd. 3.55ls, Tymar Intake, Tymar 4" downpipe and 4" exhaust. AIC, B&W turnoverball, EBPV brake, tranny temp gauge, boost gauge, and egt gauge. 2.5" axle drop bracket, F350 springs up front, and F350 rear axle blocks. 260k miles. RETIRED.

NEW (to me) 2005 F350 FX4 Crewcab shortbed, SRW, Lariat, auto, V10. 5600 lbs front end.
