identical trucks - mpg

Ok so I have a 97 f250 crew cab 4x4 with the auto trans, 3.55 gears, and I am averaging 16mpg around town, 20 on the highway.

I am looking at another 97 f250 crew cab 4x4 with a manual trans, 3.55 gears. What kind of mileage can I figure to get with it....hoping for better mpgs since it's a manual.

Also what is a ballpark price range having 150k miles on it?

The E4OD has a slightly higher O/D ratio so I wouldn't expect much if any better highway MPG. If you drive conservatively your city MPG may be better.

Your towing/hauling performance would be quite a bit better with the 5-spd compared to the E4OD, at least IMHO.

Far as price, KBB is a good place to start.
