Hello. I have a long story I will try to keep short. I had my truck shipped from WA to NM recently. Didn't know where the truck was for two weeks. When I received it, it was apparent somebody had used the truck for work or play, emptying both tanks and leaving dirt / debris / food inside and in the bed. I would like to have the truck inspected just to be sure nothing else was done. I would prefer a thorough mechanical inspection by somebody who knows what they are doing. My question is: where should the truck be taken for the inspection?
Around here there really isn't anyone that can do that for you. If your up north like in Albequerque or something, I'm sure there's something around there. I'll have to ask my dad's boss if he knows of any good shops up there.
Down south (I think) there's a diesel shop in Artesia that might be something to check out. I've never been there but they advertise on the radio alot and are supposedly supposed to be good with trucks, lifts, 4x4, etc.

I am in Albuquerque now, moving to Edgewood shortly. Still becoming familiar with the territory. I really don't expect to find anything wrong with the truck, but it would be nice to rule anything out. Mostly annoyed that somebody would pull a stunt like that. Kind of suprising from a transport company.
Not really, if you look into transport companies you will see alot of bad press about them, joyriders, dents scratches costs more than bid takes longer than expected. had that problem before i ended up raming their trailer with my truck i was so pissed. a dent for a dent is what i said. i was young and dumb then so i would def take a different approach on what happened.

Haha... well, there were multiple carriers, so the guy I received the cars from had nothing to do with it. Fortunately, the main company has been really cool and will be picking up the tab for the vehicle inspection and detail. I wound up just making an appointment with a local dealership to take care of everything.
