jb weld and fuel bowl

so my fuel bowl has several holes in the bottom. can you fill the bottom of the bowl up with JB weld?

also does diesel eat JB Weld?

After cleaning it real well ,many have used J B..never heard anyone report back that it failed ....

The JB weld will last longer than the fuel bowl. It does not rot out like the aluminum does.

Not to start a war or take anything away from JB Weld but,What about Lab metal? ( cause I have it readily available, On the shelf in my garage)

i just ordered some high heat lab metal up, has a much higher heat range than jb, altho i dont see it getting to be over 650 degrees in the filter bowl

i need mine for a small exhaust pinhole i made when welding nearby

and maybe.....to avoid getting those bellowed turbo uppipes...not sure how i feel about gooping that stuff all over my exhaust doughnuts though

You can thicken it by leaving a little bit out to dry out. I use a tongue depressor from work. You can also get them from any craft store.
