Will i hurt anything if i disconnect that wiring harness thats on the buzzer for the key in the ignition? Ive disconected it before on other vehicles but they didnt have all the wires runnin to it that this does.

I just pulled the plug on my 97 F-250 and it didn't cause any problems. I may try to isolate the circuit that rings the bell if you leave the headlights on. That warning bell is usefull. The door open with the key on warning and the seatbelt warning are just annoying. ( I buckle up regardless)

You can go to the plug for the warning chime and cut the Black/Pink wire going to it and the "key in ignition" warning will be silenced, unless they've changed the color code since 1990. As Ralf said, the "lights on" warning is useful and the rest of them don't really bother me. Put quick connect ends on the wires if you wish and then you can reconnect if and when you decide to sell.

That's pretty much what I did, but I put a switch inbetween so if I'm working on the truck or whatever, I can flip the switch and turn it off. Does not affect the light chime and when I want it back (I'm such a space cadet @ 27), I just flip it back.
A diagram is in my pics. A link to my pic is in the sig.

I killed the key in dinger with a small strip of black tape by pulling out the switch & putting it on the side contact area & putting the key switch back in.
That way the if the lights are left on it will still make racket to let you know.
Cheers

Here is a picture of mine, I removed the keyless entry module where I could take a picture of it, it is right behind the little kubby hole (recess) in the dash, just to the right of the steering wheele, you can just pull the plug off the box and leave it mounted if you want.
