Loose Signal Lever...Trying to get clamshell off

I am trying to pull my turn signal lever but I am having a hard time getting to it. I have the front of the steering wheel off (horn, cruise control) and I have the bottom piece off from under the steering column. So far with what I have off, I can get to the lower Torx screw that holds the singal lever on, but the top one is still under the top cover, and I cant get that half of the cover (or clamshell) off cause it looks like it needs to come over the ignition...any help?! Re: Loose Signal Lever...Trying to get clamshell off

pull the key cylinder by inserting something small into the hole under the cylinder... make sure the key is in it so the internal parts dont fly around
