1995 Ford 7.3 put new valve cover gaskets and pigtails and accidentally hooked a glow plug wire to the common injector feed wire on the back plug on passenger side now trucks only running on the driver side four cylinders. In doing that did I fry my idm or r the injectors screwed???
Did you measure the resistance of the injectors after the incident? Did you check the continuity of the wires between that bank and the IDM? That's where I'd start.
No haven't done anything just know that the passenger side won't fire at all not to in a big panic just want some ideas were to start getting tired of this lemon
No, that only means that the injectors themselves are most likely not the problem. Did you check the continuity of the wiring between that bank and the IDM?
I would test for continuity from the IDM plug the the end of the connector that plugs into the valve cover gasket. If it is good to that point the pull the valve cover.
I did a continuity test from pin 24 to pin 26 if I unhook the front connector (#1 and 3 cylinder) I get nothing but when it hooks up I get continuity and did continuity test on injectors and I get nothing
My pin 24-26 was caused by number 3 injector so that's cover and a continuity test from pin 24-20 with injector hooked up was good just can't figure out y I don't have resistance there
