NEED HELP truck has no power on acceleration????

Over the last thee days my 1996 5 speed has been losing power quick. when driving and taking off. When on the highway if I hit a hill going 50 ill be going 40 at the top but pushing 2500 rpms. My truck barely wants to move now. Sounds fine no rough idle. I have a real bad pedestal oil leak so I'm thinking that the oil just worked into the tranny finally and is making it slip bad? All I know is when I can put my truck in third and let out on the clutch and it idles fine that's not a good thing haha. in case it matters its a southbend 1200ft. Lb. Clutch with a single mass flywheel.

Sounds like your clutch plate is TOTALLY soaked in oil from your pedistal leak. There's NOTHING in a ZF 5-spd that can slip so it has to be your clutch.

You need to pull the transmission, fix your oil leak, clean the flywheel & pressure plate with Brake-Clean, and install a new clutch disc.
