Just got done replacing the starter and the fuel pump, can't get her to start now. After the starter replacement, she fired right up as always, then today I replaced the fuel pump and now she just cranks and cranks... Anything obvious I should check right off the bat? I'm pretty sure I have all the wires hooked back up. I made sure the filter canister filled back up, so there's fuel in there anyways....
Did you make sure the little shaft was in the bottom of the fuel pump when you installed it? It may need to reprime itself. Check the fuel bowl again and make sure it is full.

I made sure the shaft/tappet was in place on the pump before installing. I also turned the motor over by hand to make sure it was seated properly. The fuel bowl is full, that was the first thing I checked too. For kicks, I tried jumping it with my other car... still no luck. With the new starter she cranking faster than ever, just NO Start ??? Weird....
One more thing I did was clean the Fuel Regulator Screen... just to make sure when I put it back together I put the o-ring in first then the screen and then bolted the FPR back on the bowl. I'm 90% sure that was the right procedure right?
Are you getting any smoke out of the tail pipe? Check all the fuses under the hood mainly #22 and #9. Also you may want to check the oil in the HPOP (high pressure oil pump) there is a plug on top of it that you can remove and see how high it is. It should be close to the top. Recheck all the plugs that may of came loose. That should keep you busy for a little while.
No smoke, checked all the fuses and they are all good. I did not check the HPOP yet.. is that the rectangular unit that sits in front of the fuel bowl right behind the alternator? I double checked the oil level however and it is right at the "Full" mark.
The HPOP reservoir is the rectangular unit in front of the fuel bowl. Check to make sure that the fuel bowl wiring harness was plugged back in and that the IPR wiring (which is part of the fuel bowl harness) was plugged back in to the IPR (it is fairly common for folks to forget this connection or knock it off somehow when doing fuel bowl/pump R&R's). Cheers!
No smoke usually means that the injectors are not firring or that you don't have any fuel. The injectors use the high pressure oil to inject the fuel into the cylinder so if your HPOP is low you may not have enough oil in the system to do the job, and yes it is the rectangular box on top and front of the engine. There is a plug one side that you can remove and put some more oil into it if needed. Excessive cranking will at times drain it down. Also if this is the problem you may have some hard starting for the next couple of days unless you take the truck out and run it for 15-30 minutes to get all the air out of the lines if any got in.
I'll check the HPOP and quadruple check my wiring. Got to get my baby running soon as my other car is having transmission issues and I can't afford to take both of them in to get fixed...
The HPOP is only down from about 1/2" from the top plug, I'm assuming that would be an ok level. Re-checked all the wiring and it appears to be good. I took out the FPR screen and made sure it was installed correctly (screen in first, then o-ring in the bowl and then bolted the FPR back on the bowl. There are only two other things that strike me as a potential problem here. The steel fuel line that comes out on the underside of the FPR is inside the FPR past the o-ring but not all the way up to the lip on the steel line, maybe 3/8" shy of the lip to bee all the way in. Maybe I tweeked it while removing the canister? Not sure if that would cause a no start but maybe worthy of mention here. Next I attached a pic of a sensor (circled in green) that appears to be leaking oil on the block. It's not squirting or anything like that... just keeps getting wet.
Man, I sure hope to get this figured out soon
Thanks again for the help guy's... I REALLY appreciate it !!!
Did you pull the fuel bowl out when you were doing the fuel pump? If so did you reconnect the harness plug on the passenger side of the fuel bowl? I don't see it in the pic and it should be visible at the top right side of the bowl.

There is a connector that is attached with one T-20 TORX Screw to the passenger side fuel bowl... looks to be about an 8 -pin. If that is the one you are referring to? It seemed to be connected but I'll check that again.
Have you checked your fuel pressure while somebody cranks the engine over? You can do it on the scrader valve on the drivers side of the filter housing and just use a pencil type air gauge. Running it should be around 50psi but I'm not sure on the psi when you are cranking but it should be close to that.
