No start

I drove about 200 miles the other day and I noticed that my on board air was not coming on, so come to find it was a bad connection. That was fixed. I buttonned everything up and tried to start the truck. It would'nt start. I get the wait to start light but absolutely no crank. I thought it was the alarm. So I called the place who put the alarm in. Because the alarm is out of warranty they are not really willling to help me thay said "just bring it in" I repeat "IT WILL NOT START". So I bypassed the ignition kill. no changes. So i pullled the codes P 1111 (System Passed) Any suggestions? **************Update I jumped thje starter relay and she fired right up, so looks like i need to go to the parts store.

I would start with the simple things first. Make sure your batteries are up and the cables are not corroded, even on the starter. Sometimes the starters corrode. Check all of your fuses under the dash and in the power distribution box. Inspect the starter solenoid, which is what this sounds like as a first wild guess. If none of that works, get a small hammer or piece of pipe and tap the starter, the brushes may be worn causing them not to have contact.
