The only test would be to scan for codes in the PCM. On the other hand one indicator of a bad CPS is when you are turning the engine over if the tach moves up or if it just stays on the peg. If it moves it is ok if it stays on the peg you need to replace it. If it is bad NAPA should have one that will fit. To replace it you'll need a 10mm 6 pt socket and a screwdriver. Place a little oil on the O ring before you put the new one in. It is located at the 10 o'clock position from the crank pulley on the front of the block.
So what are the symptoms of your no start? Do you get the wait to start light? Oil up on the dip stick? Check your fuses, mainly #9 and #22 under the hood.
